Role Purpose
The Head of Corporate Comms (HCC) is responsible for building and where necessary protecting the corporate reputation of Danone UKI. In close coordination with the General Secretary and Public Affairs team the HCC leads the development and implementation of a consistent and impactful corporate communications strategy. The HCC owns the overall messaging, contents & delivery plan to target key stakeholders Effectively communicating and leveraging our BCorp status and OPOH vision to drive knowledge about Danone as a business, our people, brands and social contribution the HCC will build our corporate reputation achieving recognition as a Top 10 F&B company in UKI.
Some of the responsibilities include
- Nourish, leverage and protect Danone ‘s corporate and commercial reputation, on and off line through 360° stakeholder communication
- Enable achievement of strategic business objectives through excellence in strategic definition and execution of corporate communication agenda
- Responsible for choice of and ownership of media channels
- Define local media relations strategy and oversees execution
- Define corporate social media strategy and oversee execution. Coordinate closely with category teams
- Manage issues and crisis communication.
- Ensure media & social media monitoring, listening & early warning on emerging issues.
- Lead reputation measurement
- Responsible for choice and management of communication agency support (crisis, corporate PR, etc.)
- Corporate spokesperson
- Advise and support to GM / CODI on communication matters
- Support, media train and prepare top management as spokespeople
- Support with strategic non-branded category comms campaigns when required
About you
About You
- Extensive corporate communications experience, preferably in heavily regulated categories
- Track record of managing corporate communications for large complex business
- Strategic Thinker able to translate clear strategy into concrete communications plan to build corporate reputation
- Experience of issues and crisis communication. Journalistic writing skills
- Social media and digital knowledge, digital channel management experience
- Experienced team leader who has developed skills of team members
The salary bracket for this role is £90,000-£100,000 plus car allowance, bonus and competitive benefits package.
