Job Description
This position is responsible for providing an efficient and accurate payroll service to Council and its staff.
This role is a full-time role, based out of the Molong office.

Qualifications
Essential
- Class C driver’s licence.
Desirable
- Relevant industry qualifications.
Skills & Experience
At least two years’ experience in a similar role, with:
- Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying and interpreting industrial awards and agreements, legislation and procedures.
- Experience and ability in general accounting practices.
- Demonstrated Experience and knowledge in the functions of payroll.
- Knowledge and experience in taxation and superannuation laws and referencing.
- Sound communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels and other associated customers.
- Intermediate level operation of Microsoft Word and excel.
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality.
- Highly systematic and organised approach to work with strong prioritisation and time management skills.

- This position is graded 7 ($1310.10 – 1410.19 gross per week).
