A DAY IN THE LIFE:

As a Front End Software Engineer, you’ll kick off the day by syncing with your cross-functional team of designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to align on priorities and progress. Your day will involve designing and implementing robust, scalable user interfaces, coding mostly in Java, JavaScript and Typescript, using modern frameworks like React. You’ll collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless user experience, write clean and reusable code, and optimize front-end performance to handle high-traffic fintech applications. By the end of the day, you’ll review pull requests, refine sprint goals, and explore innovative ways to enhance user satisfaction.

WHAT YOU LIKELY BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development, 3+ years of front end development, with a focus on SaaS or FinTech, is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with knowledge of RESTful APIs and state management tools like Redux.
• Project Management: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other similar project management tools is a plus!
• Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle complex challenges and propose elegant, user-centric solutions.
• Attention to Detail: A passion for pixel-perfect implementation and a deep understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in agile teams.
• Mindset: A growth-oriented attitude, openness to feedback, and a willingness to mentor others.
