The Director of Strategy and Innovation will play an essential role in mapping out the future trajectory of the business by spearheading the creation of innovative business models to broaden the revenue opportunity for Cydcor and our partners, improve our value proposition to clients, and create a more diversified business. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with key business and functional leaders to develop strategic plans, ensure transformational projects are executed effectively, and critical process improvements are swiftly implemented.
Primary Responsibilities
- Creates & manages the strategic process for our company.
- Leads development and communication of strategic plans and transformational projects across the company.
- Responsible for sourcing and vetting strategic opportunities and innovative business models, including Owned and Operated (O&O) Businesses, JVs, partnerships, and investments.
- Gathers and accesses crucial insights and benchmarking across competitors’ consumers, categories and channels via various internal and external sources.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge and experience implementing strategic planning frameworks and the ability to help formulate and evaluate business models.
- Prior experience sourcing and structuring M&A, investments, and strategic partnerships
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and experience in providing strategic consultancy, solutions, support, or service.
- Ability to work independently with strong, strategic planning and organizational skills
- High sense of urgency; self-motivated and with a bias towards taking and driving action
- A natural collaborator with an ability to establish and maintain lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Deep business acumen and ability to interpret and extrapolate trends to make sound business decisions.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to engage and effectively influence stakeholders across and outside the organization.
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, change, and prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities with the ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives.
- Ability to teach and foster development in others.
- Considerable knowledge and understanding of sales/marketing industry and/or financial services would be beneficial, but the individual may have experience across a variety of industries.

Working Conditions
- Monday – Friday, in office in Agoura Hills, CA.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
