The Work You’ll Do
The Regional Vice President of Sales is responsible for the direction and management of the Field Sales team in their assigned geographic region. This individual directly supervises employees on the strategic account management team, as well as the Regional Sales Directors. The role includes providing leadership and coaching to outside sales, holding the team accountable to hit bookings targets, and drives the development and execution of sales strategies.
More Specifically, You Will
- Directly supervise employee on the strategic account management teams as well as regional Sales Directors in their assigned territory
- Oversee hiring, development, and performance management of the Field Sales team Comprehend and communicate complex concepts
- Provide leadership and coaching to entire Sales team; accountable for team to hit booking targets
- Provide strategic and tactical direction and plans to achieve and exceed established performance goals
- Establish strong and strategic relationships with key decision makers
- Concentrate, analyze and resolve complex problems
- Participates in critical decisions as a member of the executive management team and builds effective relationships with company senior executives and key management personnel of customers and Partners
- Create executive level materials – summarizing state of the department’s health leveraging data analytics
- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
- Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
What We Ask From You
- 10 to 15 years related Sales experience and/or training
- Accountability for commitments and scheduled deliverables
- Highly skilled in change management practices and driving organizational process improvements
- Superior cross-functional collaborator with exceptional general management skills and the ability to build relationships within an organization
- Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills to quickly establish rapport and credibility at all levels within an organization, including the C- and board-level.
- Ability to work well individually and within a cross functional team and demonstrated experience working with geographically dispersed teams
