To join our talented People team as our new People Advisor, to provide first-class support to our venues teams. This is a hybrid role and will require you to work from our office in Hampstead, North London, as well as working from home and from our venues across London and the South of England.

As our People Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our venue management teams by providing advice and driving initiatives that enhance our people experience, engagement and operational efficiency. You will be the go to person for your region for all people related queries, supporting managers and members of our teams in line with employment law, best practice and company policy. You will support and coach our leaders to be fair, reasonable and consistent in their approach to managing their teams.

As our People Advisor, your day-to-day will consist of;

  • Being as the first point of contact for employee relations casework for your area.
  • Understanding team dynamics and adapting an agile approach to delivering advice, whilst supporting to resolve cases with fairness and consistency.
  • Monitor and track the case board for your region and flag themes and patterns for wider discussion.
  • Support managers with employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, development, promotions and exit interviews.
  • Deliver training and workshops to managers on best practice and employment law.
  • Regularly visit your venues to maintain a good understanding of venue needs and support requirements.
  • Manage and deliver all transactional people admin for your area.
  • Keep employee information, such as team directories and org charts, up to date and communicate these regularly.
  • Support the People Manager in drafting, auditing and reviewing policies, including changes driven by employment legislation.
  • Produce regular people reporting for your area and leverage insights to identify trends to drive meaningful change.
  • Collaborate with our Regional Trainers to support development initiatives across the business.
  • Office Management of our Hampstead office, including ordering of consumables & stationary, and management of maintenance and external contractors.

HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU.

To be our People Advisor you’ll need;

  • 2 years plus experience in a People/HR Advsior role, ideally within the Hospitality, Retail, or Leisure sectors.
  • A strong understanding of employment law, best practice and employee relations case management.
  • First-class interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, coach and build trust with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • A proven track record of making sound, pragmatic decisions to resolve cases in a timely and effetive manner.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks to achieve various deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Fourth Hospitality (HRIS) would be an advantage.

As our next People Advisor, you will receive;
