Draftsman

As part of the farm build team, you will work alongside project managers, engineers, and construction managers and a team of 6-8 farm builders, ensuring that all technical drawings and 3D models meet the highest standards. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and execution of our construction projects.

• Import 3D model scans of existing buildings and structures or create rough models based on provided measurements.
• Fit out buildings with equipment blocks, collaborating with project engineers and project managers to define space requirements.
• Generate 3D models and 2D drawings for facility layouts, supporting investor presentations, regulatory approvals, and project planning.
• Refine and enhance model details in collaboration with project engineers and site engineers to create precise construction drawings.
• Produce and update construction drawings, ensuring they reflect “As-Built” conditions using feedback from site engineers and construction managers.
• Manage a database of drawings and equipment models to streamline future projects.

To be successful in this role, you need to have strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth execution of our farm builds and the continuous improvement of our processes.

You’ll need:

• A technical degree in drafting, architecture, or engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit 3D and AutoCAD 2D software solutions;
• Strong understanding of construction and technical processes.
• Document management experience
• Experience in working in a project team according to agreed project milestones

Nice to have:

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients.
• Experience working with Fusion 360
• Ability to travel internationally for short durations
