Job Description

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our revenue cycle, organizing strategies to increase profitability, and ensuring that all financial objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall revenue cycle activities, including pricing, billing, third-party payer relationships, compliance, collections, and financial analysis to optimize patient financial interaction and maximize profitability.
- Design, implement, and monitor processes to ensure the clinical revenue cycle is effective and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations on patient access, appointments, and data audits.
- Function as the Compliance Officer and actively participate in the Compliance Committee to ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Track and analyze key metrics related to the patient engagement cycle, such as record coding error rates and billing turnaround times, to drive sound revenue cycle analysis and reporting.
- Manage relationships with payers and providers to generate high reimbursement rates and minimize denials.
- Lead efforts for managed care contract negotiations in collaboration with the Executive Director.
- Develop and implement functional strategies, budgets, policies, and procedures to support the infrastructure of the revenue cycle.
- Monitor market trends within reimbursement and adjust strategies to maximize collections in accordance with compliance regulations.
- Oversee the monitoring of incoming payments to ensure accurate posting and maintain exemplary check-and-balance systems.
- Provide expert feedback on revenue cycle matters and generate ideas for innovative revenue programs.
- Report directly to the Executive Director on progress toward financial and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of managerial experience, within a healthcare environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and patient scheduling software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to groups and leadership.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
