Metadata Content Writer

• Manage content metadata for all assets on MBC linear platforms
• Create, translate and transliterate content metadata
• Verify supplier content against media assets
• Check editorial and technical accuracy of broadcast schedules within given timelines
• Ensure metadata requirements for linear platforms are met before broadcast dates
• Support last-minute changes on linear platforms, ensuring accurate information at all times
• Provide metadata reports to line manager
• Passion for drama, movies, and entertainment desired
• Excellent in English and Arabic synopsis translations
• Meticulous, with specific attention to detail for quality assurance
• Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Result-oriented and self-motivated team player

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mass Communication
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in content writing preferred
• Experience in the media and entertainment industry relating to one or more of the following areas – metadata management, digital video and audio, asset management systems, multimedia formats
