Job Description
The RSM works with distributors to build brands, maximize distribution, and coordinate programs across on premise, off premise, chain; assigns and monitors volume goals with distributor; develops and agrees to appropriate KPIs with distributors; monitors results; ensures retail pricing is consistent with brand strategies; develops and implements innovation (new brand) programs; maximizes brand exposure through trade and promotional events. This role will cover the following states: Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. *Candidate must reside in the region* Minimum Requirements: 5+ years of distributor relationship experience Experience managing budgets Direct leadership experience relevant to CPG space Excellent communication skills Travel 40-50% Job Duties: Achieve volume and distribution objectives for the region Use KPIs to ensure that execution standards are achieved; monitor results through the use of KPI tracking and VIP Implement and monitor agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with key distributors/brokers/state and retailers Manage implementation and monitor execution on a monthly and quarterly basis. Identify, develop and propose strategic price increase/decrease opportunities throughout the year that are consistent with brand positioning strategies Develop and build relationships with key contacts in region Provide retail level (on and off-premise) intelligence via quarterly T2T with distributor / broker or state partners; focus on education through insights and fact-based selling by leveraging emerging consumer behavior and consumption patterns. Build brands, develop relationships, sell distribution, and coordinate programs with multi-state customers (chains and military) on and off premise Manage POS and promo budget from start to finish (submit orders, align on execution expectations with counterparts (execution team)) Own communication of all regional & national promotions to distributor partners Participates in execution team monthly meetings & playbook roll-out Powered by JazzHR
