Position: Human Resource Director (HR Director)

As the HR Director at Edenbrook Appleton, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing human resources functions specific to the long-term care industry. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of HR, including compensation, benefits administration, OSHA compliance, payroll management, corrective action/disciplines, talent acquisition, and onboarding and orientation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Assist in administering company benefits programs such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances, 401K, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

OSHA Compliance/Injuries

  • Oversee OSHA compliance, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage and track workplace injuries, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.

Payroll And Data Entry

  • Administer bi-monthly payroll processes.
  • Accurately enter and maintain employee data in HR systems.

Corrective Action/Disciplines

  • Assist in developing and implementing corrective action and discipline procedures.
  • Address employee relations issues promptly and professionally.

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent for various roles within the organization.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of recruiting efforts, including sourcing resumes, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and providing timely follow-up.

Onboarding And Orientation

  • Develop and implement onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Conduct orientations to introduce new employees to company policies and culture.

Qualifications

  • HR Human Resources Experience or equivalent experience in Healthcare Setting.
  • Must have a Payroll experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
