Job Summary
Baptist MD Anderson is looking for a Genetic Counselor Assistant to join our team at Baptist MD Anderson. This role supports the Genetic Counseling Services team in delivering high-quality care to adult oncology patients in an outpatient setting.
As a Genetic Counselor Assistant, You Will
- Under the supervision of the Director of Genetic Counseling Services, the assistant facilitates care coordination, enhances clinic workflows, and fosters a patient-centered environment tailored to the needs of adult oncology patients undergoing genetic counseling and molecular testing.
- Perform administrative and operational support, including scheduling appointments, obtaining clinical information specific to oncology cases, coordinating genetic testing, and assisting with patient follow-ups.
- Emphasize expertise in handling oncology-specific needs, ensuring all duties align with the unique requirements of adult outpatient care.
