Wellness Coordinator – Front Range
Reports to: Director of Operations
Job Category: Hourly | Non-Exempt | Full-Time
Salary Range: $22.40-$26.50 (DOE)
Job Site: Foundry Front Range (Broomfield)
Job Summary
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing all wellness programs. This includes plans to promote and improve health and wellness for clients in recovery.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three plus years of professional experience in the health/wellness/fitness industry.
- Health and wellness certification or Wilderness First Responder certification preferred.
- Knowledge of industry and trauma-integrated care preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Valid, non-restricted, Colorado driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Current CPR certification or ability to gain certification within the first 30 days of hire.
- Enthusiastic, detail-oriented team and individual contributor.
- Experience leading group activities.
- Knowledge of area and its resources.
- Knowledge of nutritional values.
- Ability to inspire and motivate individuals regardless of engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable ethics and integrity while providing outstanding service and care with compassion and discretion.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Design and implement wellness programming provided at Foundry Front Range.
- Educate clients on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Oversee offsite activities, coordinating necessary equipment, transportation, reservations, etc.
- Ensure adequate staff is available and prepared for activities.
- Collaborate with Clinical department to plan activities.
- Coordinate with Medical to ensure Functional Movement Screens are completed for each client.
- Promote and ensure safety of clients at all times.
- Oversee client physical exercise programs.
- Develop professional relationships with outside organizations that create wellness, spiritual learning, and community service opportunities.
- Develop an individualized wellness continuing care plan for clients to implement upon discharge.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and procedures, State & Federal law, and accrediting agency regulations and standards.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working/typing on a computer.
- Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, climb steps, hear, see, speak.
- Must be able to participate in fitness classes of all levels.
- This position is exposed to outdoor weather conditions and indoor gym facilities with workout equipment.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
- Driving in all weather conditions.
