General Laborer

We are looking for General Laborers at our Oakbank Site for day and evening shifts. The General Laborer plays a key part in production by maintaining a continuous supply of mix to the line, and ensuring high quality standards, while meeting safety requirements.

Job Summary

  • Operate a forklift to feed the plant (peat, perlite, vermiculite and wood fibers);
  • Keep work area clean and maintain safety standards;
  • Assure that the pallets are correctly placed and in good order;
  • Maintain equipment and reduce waste during production;
  • Follow the plant schedule to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating a forklift preferred;
  • Physically capable of lifting 55 lbs repeatedly;
  • Committed to working safely and following a production schedule;
  • You are punctual, reliable, with a positive attitude and like team work.

Working Conditions
