As a Legal Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring all operations and marketing activities comply with legal requirements. You will oversee contracts, manage risks, and protect the company’s interests while supporting the creative and business teams with legal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Ensure all agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, and influencer contracts, protect the company’s rights and comply with applicable laws.
  • Compliance
  • Ensure the company’s marketing campaigns align with advertising laws and regulations.
  • Provide legal guidance regarding data privacy (e.g., GDPR, local data protection laws) and intellectual property rights.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify potential legal risks in marketing activities and provide actionable solutions to mitigate them.
  • Assist in resolving disputes with clients, vendors, or third parties.
  • Intellectual Property (IP) Protection
  • Manage the registration and protection of the company’s trademarks, copyrights, and other IP assets.
  • Ensure all creative materials (e.g., images, videos, music) used by the company comply with licensing agreements.
  • Legal Documentation and Advisory
  • Maintain accurate records of legal documents, contracts, and company policies.
  • Provide education and training to teams on relevant legal topics, including compliance and IP rights.
  • General Legal Support
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing internal policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed for complex legal matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the marketing, media, or creative industries.
  • Strong knowledge of advertising laws, data protection regulations, and intellectual property rights.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
