Job Responsibilities

Broad objective of the role:

To be responsible for pan India operations and achieve revenue and profitability targets, build and manage relationships with bungalow owners/partners, enhance guest satisfaction and manage employee relations. Work with the Anchor Hotel General Managers closest to the bungalow for day to day operations.

Build strong relationships with high profile customers and strategic partners such that ama achieves the desired brand positioning. Increase the ama footprint in India by sourcing possible leads for conversion.

Strategy Development And Planning

Sets the annual business strategy for AMA.

Sets departmental goals and strategies and ensure alignment with the hotel business strategy.

Conducts periodic competition analysis and plan tactical strategies to increase and maintain a leading share in the market.

Financials & Resource Management

Create the annual revenue and budget plan for AMA including marketing plan, capital expenditure plan and employee budget.

Work closely with Sales & Marketing team to develop effective pricing and promotion strategy, balancing seasonality and customer segments to generate higher revenues and support brand positioning in the source markets.

Review financial performance – Revenue & EBIDTA of each bungalow and make course corrections wherever required.

People & Processes

Develop local supply chains.

Coordinate with the concerned anchor hotel General Managers with respect to staffing process, ensuring timely compliance to work processes like performance management, employee engagement and training and development.

Ensure Statutory Compliances.

Proactive engagement for conservation of the environment and CSR

Customer

Implementation of Standards and SOPs for each bungalow.

Visit the clusters on a scheduled basis to ensure that set standards are met in all areas of the bungalows including levels of maintenance and cleanliness, preventive maintenance programs, compliance to security standards, fire and crisis management etc.

Create unique local guest experiences for each of the bungalow.

Ensure compliance and enactment of the AMA customer value propositions at all bungalows.

Business Development & Owner Management

Generate future leads for conversion and coordinate with the Business Development team on the same.

In consultation with the Project team draw out Project Improvement Plans (PIP) for bungalows before taking over and oversee the same till completion with a sign off audit.

Ensure timely execution of renovation and refurbishment projects.

Engage, build and manager relationships with all bungalow owners / partners.
