Join NatWest Boxed as an Operational Excellence Associate

What You’ll Do

In your new role, you’ll join our agile team which is focused on driving process improvement initiatives across Mettle and Boxed, as well as operational readiness for new product launches and regulatory or policy driven projects. This role will work closely with our Operations and Risk teams and help define operational processes and procedures, ensuring that Boxed operations have the tools they need to service customers and clients.

You’ll Also

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring that all process changes are approved by the required stakeholders and accurately recorded and reflected in the Knowledge Hub.
  • Consistently check all operational processes remain compliant with the corresponding policies and regulations and that controls are documented.
  • Support with continuous improvement projects by analysing existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.
  • Work closely with Mettle Product Owners to drive operational efficiency and ensure operational readiness for product launches
  • Collate feedback from Operations and ensure improvements are properly prioritised before implementation
  • Identify and raise new risks, issues and non-compliance to regulations or policies. Work with wider teams and stakeholders to find mitigations to any risks, issues and dependencies identified

The Skills You’ll Need

You’ll need to have a strong understanding of banking operations and processes, with deep knowledge of at least one relevant operational area (Onboarding, Financial Crime, Customer Support & Complaints, Payments, Lending, In-Life Due Diligence or Fraud)

You’ll Also Need

  • Experience in process mapping and documentation creation in standard formats
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A high level of initiative and attention to detail, consistently upholding high standards across all tasks and responsibilities
