By leveraging state-of-the-art remote management and monitoring tools, you will work alongside colleagues in different regions to provide seamless support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver desktop support for both hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Acquire knowledge and adapt to industry-specific and proprietary management systems.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user equipment.
- Execute network administration tasks, including user account permissions and Active Directory modifications.
- Maintain follow-ups with clients to ensure issue resolution meets their satisfaction.
- Keep precise and timely records in our ticketing system.
- Investigate and resolve IT-related challenges across various functions.
- Collaborate with team members to devise technical solutions.
- Address daily help desk support requests and participate in projects involving interaction with other divisions.
Required Skills
- Proficient in offering both onsite and remote desktop support.
- Experienced with remote support tools such as VNC, LogMeIn, and RDP.
- Strong adeptness in troubleshooting and a proactive approach to problem resolution.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, cabling, IP phones, workstation and printer connectivity, POS devices, and Active Directory administration.
- Reliable and eager to build a long-term career in IT support.
- Goal-oriented team player with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Independent and self-driven, willing to share knowledge with others.
- Comprehensive understanding of Windows server and desktop operating systems.
- Knowledge of hotel property management and Point of Sale applications.
- Competent in PC and server hardware configuration, including peripherals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Active Directory.
- Excellent customer service skills, focusing on delivering prompt and courteous responses to user inquiries.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- At least two years of telecommunications experience.
- Familiarity with mobile devices in an enterprise environment, including iPads, iPhones, and Android devices.
- Understanding of PCI compliance and related certifications.
- Knowledge of Ruckus and Meraki access point administration.
- Insight into IP networking and troubleshooting.
- Experience with hotel applications such as PMS-Opera, POS-Micros, Revenue Management-Ideas, Building Management systems (HotSOS, Safelock, InnComm), and Sales (Delphi/SalesForce).
- A+ Certification and other relevant certifications (MCSE, MCDST, ACSP) are advantageous.
