Job Description
Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Responsibilities
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct school and public programmes. These programmes include day & overnight camps, guided tours, indoor programmes, in-park campaign activities, outreach.
- Facilitate training workshops for teachers
- Develop educational resources
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree, preferably major in Life Science, Biology and/or outdoor-related subjects.
- Prior working experience with children will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English with excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to engage.
- Ability to engage people of all ages and in groups.
- Customer-oriented, energetic, with a warm disposition.
- Has deep interest in nature, wildlife and public education.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen to learn with a positive attitude.
- Good team player.
- Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays, when necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
