The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in contract food services and demonstrate an impressive history of directing large-scale operations while fostering high-performing teams. Although this position is remote, it will necessitate regular travel to connect with teams, clients, and key stakeholders throughout the regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and execute the strategic vision for the region, steering operational success and establishing clear priorities.
- Drive operational excellence by achieving financial and operational targets while upholding the utmost standards of quality and customer service.
- Propel business growth by spearheading development initiatives, securing new accounts, and nurturing strong relationships with existing clients.
- Mentor and empower management teams to pursue excellence through dedicated coaching, training, and ongoing development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create and implement inventive solutions that address client needs and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Oversee budgeting and financial reporting to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and adherence to compliance standards.
Required Skills
- Proven capability to lead a team of six or more director-level professionals.
- Extensive experience in contract food services, particularly within higher education.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Strong executive-level communication skills, encompassing report writing, business correspondence, and presentations.
- Demonstrated success in driving performance within a Fee and/or P&L-driven context.
- Excellent decision-making skills and sound judgment in operational matters.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of experience leading multi-unit foodservice operations with managed volume exceeding $200 million.
- Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced, ever-evolving environment, confidently navigating ambiguity.
- Proven experience in leading teams and mentoring management personnel.
