Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer/Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Health, Safety, and Environmental practices within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, with at least 2 years of Offshore Brownfield experience. The role involves overseeing safety protocols, conducting safety training, ensuring HSE compliance, and reporting HSE performance for offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards on offshore projects
  • Monitor and enforce HSE procedures for both on-site and offshore operations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure safe working conditions
  • Provide guidance and support to the project teams to promote a safety culture
  • Identify risks and hazards and propose mitigation measures
  • Prepare and submit reports on HSE performance and incidents
  • Organize and conduct safety training sessions for team members
  • Assist in emergency response planning and drills
  • Collaborate with management to ensure continuous improvement of HSE processes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field (from an accredited institution)
  • Minimum NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) or equivalent qualification
  • Additional HSE certifications are a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
  • At least 2 years of Offshore Brownfield experience required
