Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer/Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Health, Safety, and Environmental practices within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, with at least 2 years of Offshore Brownfield experience. The role involves overseeing safety protocols, conducting safety training, ensuring HSE compliance, and reporting HSE performance for offshore projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards on offshore projects
- Monitor and enforce HSE procedures for both on-site and offshore operations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure safe working conditions
- Provide guidance and support to the project teams to promote a safety culture
- Identify risks and hazards and propose mitigation measures
- Prepare and submit reports on HSE performance and incidents
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions for team members
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills
- Collaborate with management to ensure continuous improvement of HSE processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field (from an accredited institution)
- Minimum NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) or equivalent qualification
- Additional HSE certifications are a plus
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
- At least 2 years of Offshore Brownfield experience required
