Job Description

• Submission of periodical Returns to Employment Exchanges.
• Submission of Common Annual Returns to Factories Department.
• Submission of Labor Welfare Fund Returns to Welfare/Labor Department.
• Submission of Half Yearly Returns of Company and Contractors who are under Company’s ESI Code number to Employees State Insurance Corporation.
• To attend various works relating to ESI i.e.
• Submission of Declaration forms for newly joined candidates who are covered under ESI Act.
• To arrange ESI Identity Cards,
• Posting of ESI sick leaves in Attendance Register.
• Sending the ESI leave information to concerned HOD/Controlling Officers pertaining to their departmental employees.
• Prepare and submission of Accident Report at ESI Branch Office.
• Timely preparation of ESI contribution challahs by every month as well as Company and Contractors.
• Assistance in preparation of ISO/USFDA documentation work to avoid NCs by Audit Party.
• To assist for getting the absent period claims from ESI by the ESI insured persons etc. and other day-to-day relating works pertaining to ESI
• Works relating to engagement of Apprentices and to get 50% Govt. share of reimbursement from Board of Apprenticeship Training, Chennai for Sandwich Apprentices.
• Assisting in implementing SOPs regarding ISO and Personnel related compliance of USFDA.
• Ensures timely submission of Returns to various Statutory Agencies.
• Assisting in initiating disciplinary actions i.e. Charge Sheets and final actions.
• Ensure Safe working conditions and clean environmental practices.
• Monitor usages of PPEs, respiratory protection equipment and ensure maintenance & cleanliness.
• Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective & preventive actions immediately.
• Report any incident/accident/ near miss/ illness to the superiors.
• Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report to superiors.
• Also responsible for the work of senior in the absence of senior.
• Responsible for completing trainings as per annual plan and as and when required
