Job Title: Company Secretary Trainee
Location: Chennai
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Company Secretary Trainee to join our team for articleship. The trainee will gain practical experience in corporate governance, compliance, and statutory obligations, supporting the company secretarial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Board Meeting Documents: Assist in the creation of agendas, proposals, and checklists for board meetings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintenance of Statutory Registers: Regularly update and maintain statutory registers and records.
- Preparation and Filing of Forms: Handle the preparation and filing of various forms with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), as well as applications for Trade Marks, PAN, TAN, and drafting Debenture Agreements.
- Regulatory Compliance: File forms and documents with regulatory authorities, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely, under the supervision of Senior Executives/Analysts.
- Document and Form Preparation: Assist in the drafting and preparation of necessary documents and forms for compliance and governance.

Qualifications:
- Completion of Executive Development Program (EDP)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with corporate governance practices.
