Key Responsibilities

  • Create a secure and inviting atmosphere for clients and their families.
  • Conduct trauma-informed assessments tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Offer short-term therapy services, including individual, couples/family, and group therapy for mental health and substance use disorders across varying age groups.
  • Maintain an effective caseload while being adaptable to triage and walk-in appointments.
  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive wellness and recovery.
  • Refer clients to community resources and aid in their transitions of care.
  • Provide crisis management and coordinate with emergency services as necessary.
  • Lead community education initiatives about mental health.
  • Employ evidence-based interventions, such as motivational interviewing, to formulate person-centered treatment plans.
  • Keep accurate records and actively participate in supervision and training sessions.

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC-I).
  • Proficiency with computers and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong awareness of personal biases and commitment to cultural competency.
  • Knowledge of multiple cultural dimensions with respect for diverse beliefs and practices.
  • Effective skills in cross-cultural communication and interaction.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Licensure or eligibility for relevant licensure.
  • Experience in a clinical setting addressing mental health and substance use disorders.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from \(62,400 to \)65,520 annually.
  • Sign-On Bonus of $5,000 for full-time positions (distributed in two installments).
