The Darlot mine is located about 900 km northeast of Perth and 121 km north of Leonora, in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

Job Description

Vault Minerals is looking for a Supply Officer to join our team at Darlot Gold Mine. The Supply Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing the storage, distribution, and inventory of materials and supplies within the organization. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain by maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating the receipt, dispatch, and storage of goods.

This role is offered on a 7/7 roster- FIFO from Perth.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety, adhering to Vault Minerals’ safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and update the inventory system regularly. Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking and prepare inventory reports as required.
  • Ensure that all materials and supplies are stored safely, organized, and easily accessible. Implement storage standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate the receipt and inspection of incoming materials to confirm they match purchase orders. Manage the dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to meet operational needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all stock movements, including goods received and dispatched. Ensure all documentation is accurately completed and stored for audit purposes.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues related to deliveries, discrepancies, or returns. Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers for effective stock management.
  • Monitor the condition of stored items and ensure they are properly maintained. Arrange for the repair or disposal of damaged or obsolete stock.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Prepare regular reports on stock levels, usage rates, and trends to inform procurement and inventory planning.

Key Factors To Your Success Include

  • Minimum 5 years in inventory, supply chain, or stores in resource sector, preferably mining.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software (Pronto preferred)
