Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Lead and manage end-to-end infrastructure data center projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate and review vendor performance / manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for data center hardware, software, and services.
- Review vendor contract deliverables , review SLAs, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to data center operations.
- Capacity Planning:
- Collaborate with capacity planning teams to ensure that data center resources meet current and future business needs.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize resource utilization.
- Change Management:
- Implement and oversee change management processes to minimize disruptions to data center operations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders about planned changes and their impact.
- Infrastructure Security:
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain data center security measures.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for data center projects and operations.
- Track expenses and report on variances, making recommendations for cost optimization.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, project stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Present project updates, status reports, and technical information to diverse audiences.
