Job Description
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the accounting system, ensuring financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and assisting with financial reporting and analysis.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Management:

Generate accounts payable aging reports and coordinate payment issuance.

Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue collections.

Collaborate with external tax accountants for the preparation of financial statements for tax purposes.

Quality Control:

Reporting and Documentation

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports to assist in financial analysis and decision-making.

Coordinate and execute the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation for reporting to senior management.

Communication and Coordination

Analyze legal documents, contracts, and leases in a clear and organized manner, relaying important findings to management for timely resolution.

Prepare and invoice tax escalations for multiple commercial and retail tenants.

Work closely with team members across the finance department and interact with external tax accountants and auditors.

Requirements
Educational Level/Required Certificates:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience

1-3 years of experience in a related field.
