Remote Purchasing Manager | WFH Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our remote team, driving the sourcing and procurement efforts that are vital for the expansion of innovative commercial spaces and sustainable charging infrastructure across North America. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the contract negotiation process for securing design consultants, general contractors, and material suppliers through various documentation including Work Orders and Statements of Work.
• Identify and assess potential suppliers by analyzing their capabilities and researching relevant market trends and economic conditions.
• Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and critically evaluate bids based on both cost and qualifications.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to fulfill project requests.
• Address and resolve project challenges by coordinating solutions within the team.
• Facilitate supplier non-disclosure agreements and meetings to build strong partnerships.
• Engage in and advocate for continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing practices.
• Align planning efforts with various departments to support broader business objectives.
• Provide robust analytical support to management for data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in purchasing and procurement.
• Strong interest and knowledge in real estate development, design, and construction.
• Exceptional relationship management abilities.
• Self-starter with the capability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient multitasking skills while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with Google Suite and purchasing platforms is advantageous.
• Experience with construction management software is a plus.
