Welder/FItter

Electromac Tool, a division Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Welder/Fitter in our Windsor, Ontario tool build Facility. The Welder/Fitter is responsible for ensuring tooling meets process expectations. The ideal candidate will have good manual dexterity, be detail-oriented and self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary Of Responsibilities

• Working with the maintenance department and tooling department to perform all welding and fabricating work.
• Fabricate projects, and aid in the production process
• Fabricate/repair scrap chutes, deflectors, conveyors and projects
• Proficient in all position Stick, MIG and TIG welding processes
• Proficient with oxy-acetylene torch cutting and air arc gouging

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of related work experience
• Experienced in TIG welding Tool Steel
• Trade certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Welders Ticket
