About the role:

The Regional Director will be responsible for leading and executing the company’s strategy across key African markets. This senior leadership role requires deep industry knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and expertise in navigating the regulatory landscape of online gaming in Africa.

What You’ll Do:

  • Market Expansion & Strategy: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to grow the company’s presence in the African iGaming market, identifying new opportunities for business development.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all local gaming regulations, licensing requirements, and compliance frameworks across multiple African jurisdictions.
  • Commercial & Partnership Development: Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including local operators, regulatory authorities, affiliates, and technology providers.
  • P&L Management: Oversee the financial performance of the African market, driving profitability and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Marketing & Brand Positioning: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to localize offerings, optimize acquisition strategies, and enhance brand visibility in the region.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing regional team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize market research, analytics, and customer insights to optimize business strategies and product offerings.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth business operations, including risk management, responsible gaming initiatives, and customer experience enhancements tailored to the African market.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the iGaming sector, specifically with a focus on African markets.
  • Strong understanding of the African gaming landscape, including licensing requirements, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with a track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Established network within the African iGaming ecosystem, including operators, regulators, and affiliates.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and manage remote and multicultural teams.
  • Ability to negotiate and close complex business agreements.
  • Analytical mindset, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
