Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the inventory management of medical supplies, equipment, and devices, including stock level tracking, conducting audits, and ensuring timely restocking.
- Coordinate the receipt and shipping of all medical supplies and equipment, emphasizing proper labeling, packaging, and delivery protocols.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and testing to ensure all medical items meet established standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions and track pertinent information such as expiration dates and lot numbers.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and servicing of medical equipment in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and medical personnel to facilitate logistics operations.
- Collaborate daily with requestors, purchasing, cataloging, and supply chain management teams.
- Manage the logistics of personnel and equipment movement.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to multitask efficiently while prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in PC applications and Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with database management and spreadsheet utilization.
- Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain principles, and inventory management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent data entry skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is essential.
- US Citizenship or possession of a permanent resident card is required.
- Current MRPT Clearance is preferred.
