What You’ll Do

As a Learning & Development Manager in the manufacturing sector, your role will be pivotal in shaping the learning culture within the organisation. You will develop and implement effective learning strategies and programs, evaluate individual and organisational development needs, and implement tailored training programs to meet these needs. Your commitment to promoting knowledge sharing throughout the organisation will be key to our success. Additionally, you will manage the production of training materials for in-house courses, monitor and evaluate their effectiveness, and stay abreast of the latest training trends and best practices.

• Develop and implement effective learning strategies and programs
• Evaluate individual and organisational development needs
• Implement tailored training programs to meet specific needs
• Promote knowledge sharing through the organisation’s operational business processes and systems
• Manage the production of training materials for in-house courses
• Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness and success
• Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

The ideal candidate for this Learning & Development Manager role brings proven experience in similar roles, along with current knowledge of effective learning and development methods. Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices is essential, as is experience in project management and budgeting. Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is required. Strong communication skills are crucial for this role, along with critical thinking abilities and a problem-solving attitude.

• Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar role
• Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
• Experience in project management and budgeting
• Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Strong communication skills with a proficiency in public speaking
• Critical thinking abilities with a problem-solving attitude
