Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate care, fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for clients and their families.
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gain insights into each client’s distinctive needs.
  • Provide effective short-term therapy for individuals, couples, and groups addressing mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Employ collaborative documentation as an integral part of the treatment process.
  • Collaborate with health and behavioral health services to support wellness and recovery initiatives.
  • Facilitate connections for clients with care coordination, peer support, and recovery services as necessary.
  • Assist clients with aftercare planning and transitions of care.
  • Offer crisis management services and liaise with emergency services when required.
  • Engage in community education by disseminating mental health information to various audiences.
  • Utilize evidence-based methods, including motivational interviewing, to create person-centered treatment plans.
  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate an open-access model for service delivery, including both in-person and telehealth options.
  • Manage caseloads effectively, allowing for walk-in appointments and triage.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision and training activities to enhance professional growth.
  • Manage the electronic health record calendar for seamless scheduling.
  • Keep CANS certification up-to-date and engage in continuing education, if licensed.

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC-I).
  • Proficient in computer skills and electronic health record systems.
  • Strong awareness of personal biases and a commitment to cultural competency.
  • Knowledge of diverse cultural dimensions and respect for varying beliefs and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse cultures.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field and demonstrate licensure or eligibility for licensure.

  • $5000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time positions, distributed in two installments.
