Manager, Forest and Fire Program Coordination

Job Description

The Manager, Forest and Fire Program Coordination leads a team for the successful delivery of broad regional programs, including road works, visitor assets, fuel management and Strategic Fuel Breaks, in line with organisational priorities.

The Manager will develop and implement program management controls for application across forest and fire management programs, supporting the effective and transparency monitoring and reporting of program delivery.

The Manager will also mentor and support staff engaged in project management across the region to deliver their projects in line with all requirements and controls.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Significant knowledge or experience in program delivery in forest or land management is desirable.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding and successful application of stakeholder and community engagement.
  • Tertiary qualifications in natural resource or environmental management (highly desirable)

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within the Gippsland Region with hybrid work arrangements available.
