PRODUCT INSPECTOR
Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Product Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of products in accordance with ISO 17020 standards, ensuring all products meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Inspections: Perform comprehensive product inspections based on ISO 17020 requirements. Inspect products at various stages of production or post-production to ensure conformity with specifications, standards, and quality criteria.
- ISO 17020 Compliance: Ensure all inspection activities adhere strictly to the guidelines and standards set out by ISO 17020, including documentation, reporting, and corrective action procedures.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports and checklists for each product inspected. Maintain records of inspections and follow up on any non-conformities or defects.
- Training & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest ISO standards and quality control practices. Participate in training sessions to continuously improve inspection skills and knowledge.
- Customer Requirements: Ensure products meet customer specifications and contractual obligations regarding quality standards and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4- years of experience in product inspection or quality control, preferably in Softline Products (Textile/ Garments/ Apparels/ Footwear, etc.).
- Additional Experience in Food and Hardlines Products (Electrical/ Electronics/ Machinery/ Auto Spare Parts, etc.)
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of ISO 17020 principles, AQL Standards, quality control and product test reports.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to identify defects, irregularities, and areas of improvement in products.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with inspection tools, measuring equipment, and product inspection procedures. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for reporting and documentation.
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and provide solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
