Position: Supervisor – Production

Education: Diploma or B.E in Mechanical/ Civil Engineering.

Preferable Experience: 2 to 3 years

Software Skills: Auto Cad 2D and M.S Office.

Machine Knowledge: Machine Knowledge, Double Mitre Profile Cutting machine, Drilling machine, Milling machine, Glass Cutting Machine, Vacuum/Membrane Press machine, Panel Saw machine, Sanding machine, Edge polish and beveling machine, vinyl cutting machine and Digital Printing Machine respectively.

Languages: English and Hindi

Desirable Languages: Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.

  • Ensure smooth operations during each shift.
  • Efficiently manage shift workers and organize rotational shifts.
  • Lead and motivate the shift team to achieve production targets.
  • Uphold and enhance product quality standards during the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Minimize downtime caused by technical issues.
  • Achieve the production targets established for the shift.
  • Enhance the skills and knowledge of the shift team.
  • Conduct training sessions for the team.
  • Work on optimizing production processes regularly while ensuring that the 5S methodology is followed on the floor.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment during the shift.
  • Reduce safety incidents by implementing preventive measures.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in dispatch materials and maintain accurate documentation for each dispatch.
  • Address any production shortfalls with senior management and coordinate with the store.
  • Provide accurate and timely production reports to senior managers.
  • Generate and analyze daily production reports.
  • Train production teams weekly and submit a report monthly.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and rectify problems arising during production.
  • Actively participate in production activities to address concerns raised by reporting managers.
  • Monitor and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, and take stock of work in progress (WIP), finished goods (FG), bins, and scrap, submitting this information to reporting managers promptly.
  • Adhere to Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while accepting upgrades and tasks assigned by reporting managers as needed.

Requirements

Machine Knowledge: Double Mitre Profile Cutting machine, Drilling machine, Milling machine, Glass Cutting Machine, Vacuum/Membrane Press machine, Panel Saw machine, Sanding machine, Edge polish and beveling machine, vinyl cutting machine, and Digital Printing Machine respectively.

Software Skills: Auto Cad 2D and M.S Office.
