About The Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager the Clinical Programme Manager will lead and manage important projects intended to address risk and reduce patient harm.

This Role Will

  • Support services at risk to identify specific risks and issues contributing to patient harm; identify and (where necessary) support the development of, structures, workflows and other tools to address these.
  • Assume short term leadership of an at-risk service to address a critical issue where the existing manager does not have the required experience, capacity or technical skill.
  • Undertake or assist in the completion of critical tasks required to address a specific risk or issue or to achieve an identified goal

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • A tertiary qualification within health or business management
  • The ability to think strategically while managing functional responsibilities on a daily basis
  • Commitment to the success of shared goals
  • Competency with te ao M?ori, tikanga, and te reo M?ori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of M?tauranga M?ori and Kaupapa M?ori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings
