Remote Special Education Professional – Virtual | WFH

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver tailored, engaging instruction that meets the distinct needs of each student in a virtual learning environment.
• Design, implement, and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with general education educators to ensure necessary accommodations and modifications are applied.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of student progress and achievements.
• Lead virtual meetings with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to discuss student growth and progress.
• Equip parents and guardians with effective strategies and resources to support their child’s learning at home.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute actively in team meetings to enhance your educational practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• A valid teaching license in Ohio, including a Special Education endorsement.
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience within a school setting.
• Demonstrated success in engaging students in a virtual learning context.
