Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology | Multiple Locations in Texas

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate and specialized care to cancer patients across multiple locations in Texas. This travel RN position is ideal for nurses who have a strong background in oncology care and are dedicated to supporting patients through their cancer treatments, including chemotherapy and other therapies.

Position Details:

  • Degree: Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Shift: 12-hour shifts (Day and Night shifts available, depending on the assignment)
  • Locations: Multiple locations available, including Lubbock, Round Rock, and San Antonio, TX
  • Start Date: Multiple start dates available
  • Assignment Length: 13-week contract
  • Job Type: Travel RN

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized care to patients undergoing cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy.
  • Administer chemotherapy and other treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions to treatments and respond appropriately.
  • Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans.
  • Work closely with the oncology care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, responses, and progress.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous oncology experience preferred
  • Licensure & Education: Active RN license in Texas (or compact license)
  • Certifications: BLS required; Oncology certifications (such as OCN) preferred
  • Skills: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, ability to manage chemotherapy administration, and patient communication expertise

Compensation & Benefits:
