Role Objectives

The Distribution Processor will primarily be assigned to a specific distribution platform- 403b Aggregator Processing or 401(k) Distribution Processing. They will demonstrate the ability to process multiple distribution types with accuracy and maintain/meet timely processing goals.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Retrieves distribution/loan/transfer forms ready for processing
  • Reviews Plan data and determines eligibility of withdrawals
  • Accurately determines the correct means of processing various withdrawal types
  • Communicates dearly with internal departments on items needed for processing
  • Keeps distribution logs and CRM current with up-to-date notes
  • Compiles and understands reports relating to distributions
  • Creates new participant loans
  • Makes determinations on hardship withdrawal requests with assistance
  • Generates Required Minimum Distribution reports
  • Actively participates in recommended training

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experienc
  • Relevant work experience relating to accounting or finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products

Physical Job Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
