Remote Database Analyst | Work From Home

We are in search of a proficient Database Analyst to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This key role involves supporting our accounting department by ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our database systems. Your analytical skills will be crucial in facilitating data-driven decision-making processes, enhancing operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance ad hoc database development and modifications across various platforms, including online systems.
• Design and execute secure, accurate, and efficient databases tailored for specific project needs.
• Stay informed of the latest best practices in data storage and management.
• Ensure that database designs align with project specifications and cost-efficiency goals.
• Create and uphold comprehensive documentation and database standards.
• Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production or development issues related to database systems.
• Collect, organize, and analyze statistical data from the database to prepare reports and address inquiries from leadership.
• Provide support for short-term project management by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and delivering timely updates.
• Convert unstructured or non-traditional data into organized, structured formats using available tools.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL Server, and additional database applications.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or other web-based programming languages is advantageous.
• Robust understanding of database design and architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• At least three years of experience in Data Processing, which includes a minimum of two years with database management systems, or two years as a development programmer/analyst utilizing database techniques.
