Position Purpose
The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environments, and business automation tools. This role will focus on Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint administration, ensuring efficient workflows, data visualization, and collaboration tools across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Microsoft environments and hold relevant certifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and configure Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
- Power Automate & Power BI: Develop and maintain automation workflows, dashboards, and reports to support business intelligence needs.
- System & Network Management: Maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows Server infrastructure.
- User & Security Management: Configure and manage user roles, permissions, and security settings across Microsoft 365 and on-premises environments.
- Hardware & Software Support: Deploy, configure, and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- IT Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage endpoint protection, and ensure compliance with company IT policies.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain detailed IT documentation and provide training to end users on Microsoft 365 tools and security best practices.

Requirements
Required:
- Experience managing Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with IT security principles, including identity management and MFA.
- Experience with automation scripting (PowerShell preferred).
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Microsoft certifications (M365, Azure Administrator, or similar).
- Experience with Azure AD, Intune, and other cloud-based security tools.
Knowledge of SQL databases, network infrastructure, and ticketing systems.
Qualifications / Prior Experience
Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 3+ years in a Systems Administration or Microsoft 365 administration role.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, customer service-oriented attitude, patience, and attention to detail.
Work Environment
- The work performed is conducted in a climate-controlled facility.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 20-35 lbs. and occasionally lift or pull 35-60 lbs.
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
