Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests to ensure the quality of our projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, and strategists to identify defects, improve product performance, and ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies and be passionate about delivering high-quality software.

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications to identify and report defects.
- Execute regression, functional, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using a defect tracking system.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to understand requirements and ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews to stay aligned with the development team’s progress.
- Monitor and report on test execution progress, test results, and product quality metrics.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements based on test results and observations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Additional Skills And Requirements
- 2+ years of testing experience
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JIRA, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance), and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
