Job Description
This role will divide its time between supporting both the Trust and helping to build out our treasury function.
- Trust – Responsible for providing financial accounting support to the General Manager of the Southern Cross Trust (preparing month-end management accounts, preparation of annual operating budgets, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, etc.)
- Treasury – Supporting the finance team with treasury related tasks to allow the business to effectively maximise cashflow (providing regular cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and optimising the net working capital, etc.)

- Accounting degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience in a financial accounting role in a medium to large sized business
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong Accounting and GL knowledge
- CAANZ qualified or working towards
- Experience with medium/large systems (i.e. Technology One, MS Dynamics, Oracles, SAP, JDE)
- Ability to partner with non-finance colleagues
- Experience in cashflow forecasting would be desirable
