Research Assistant (Asia Competitiveness Institute) (27255)

Job Description

The appointed Research Assistant will be part of the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI) research team, under ACI Director, Professor Paul Cheung, to work on a number of research projects related to Indonesia.

The candidates should have experience in policy analysis and are familiar with socio-economic development of Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters degree in Economics, Social Sciences, or equivalent
• Familiar with socioeconomic development of Indonesia
• Familiar with working on the large economic datasets for statistical analysis
• Demonstrate good organisational and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written English
• Candidate must be able to research information sources that are in Bahasa Indonesia
• Able to multitask and manage tight timelines
• Able to work in a team as well as independently. Must be highly self-motivated
• Able to commit to at least 1 year of service
