About The Role
Purpose – why this role is important
The Community Football Administrator is responsible for providing effective and efficient administration support to the Community Football Competitions within AFL Riverina.
Day in the life – what you will be responsible for
- Provide administrative support to manage leagues and competitions
- Contribute positively to the local office environment and provide regional support, as well as provide specialist support in a designated area of football operations to all Leagues in the geography
- Manage Play HQ including competition management, transfers and permits
- Coordinate the administration of the National Insurance Program across Leagues & Clubs
- Manage league events and meetings, including presentation nights, season launches and other functions
- Manage fixture process and fixtures implementation??
- Prepare and distribute all League match day paperwork
- Update scores, results and ladder through Play HQ and League website/ social media
- Maintain League website/ social media
- Contribute to key projects within and outside of core role
- Support and contribute to the success of the broader team
Must haves – what’s needed to help you be successful
- Demonstrated efficient and effective administration skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated organisational skills
- Ability to travel to regions where leagues are played
- Due to the nature of this role, weekend work and travel to local matches is required
