Overview

The District Manager is a field leadership role responsible for driving sales and fostering a high-performance culture of diverse and quality team members with a focus on customer experience and operational excellence.

The District Manager will lead the group of approximately 15 Store Managers. He/She will be accountable for producing Sales and Profits within the District to meet or exceed business goals, building and developing a powerful Team to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of store managers towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals
  • Elevate OMNI selling behaviors to influence top line growth
  • Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficiency and guarantee compliance with company’s policies & guidelines
  • Maintain increasing standards of customer service to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Build store staffing through constant and effective recruiting strategy, continuously developing team members’ capabilities and career growth.
  • Create an inclusive and positive workplace culture by recognizing and rewarding high performance, and addressing conflicts, encouraging good communication, and working to boost employee engagement and morale
  • Assess store managements’ abilities to inspire and create a best-in-class store team
  • Leverage relationships and resources to manage potential issues and grow the business
  • Identify opportunities to elevate store effectiveness with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Put action against local insights to advance competitive edge in the marketplace
  • Act as the eyes and ears on the ground, increasing effectiveness of others through insights

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of successful multi-unit retail operational management experience in a store environment in Sicily region
  • Familiarity and comfort-level in a customer-service oriented culture
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting and developing great store teams
  • Proven ability to “raise the bar” in terms of store performance and revenue growth, maintaining standards of service and operations within a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial sense and business acumen.
  • Good communication skills, able to effectively manage and communicate in a matrix working environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude
  • Analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Highest levels of ethics and integrity
  • Good level of English
  • High school diploma required, degree highly recommended
  • Must be based in Sicily, preferably in Catania area
