Job Description
The FS Investments Marketing Associate will assist in end-to-end management and the promotion of FS Investments’ products with financial advisors and their investor clients. The role involves becoming the Marketing product owner, working closely with cross-functional teams to create and distribute new materials that meet changing market needs and drive sales. The responsibilities include maintaining core resources necessary for the distribution of products and providing ongoing fund communications for advisors. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, be comfortable communicating clearly across stakeholders, enjoy asking questions and thinking critically about problems, and be excited to work with the team towards common goals.
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Create and maintain collateral for FS funds, including print collateral, website, and video content while in conjunction with multiple teams across the company.
- Develop strong relationships with Sales and serve as a liaison with Sales & Marketing to develop a strong understanding of distribution needs.
- Serve as the product owner for the areas of the business they support, organizing and providing project management deliverables through the entire product lifecycle.
- Partner with other teams such as Investment Research, Fund Communications and Portfolio Management to ensure consistency in messaging and service.
- Work with the marketing team to use various marketing channels including web, social, email and paid media to accomplish distribution goals.
- Maintain core resources necessary for the distribution of our products and provide ongoing fund communications to advisors.
- Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure all materials meet regulatory requirements as they are developed.
- Resolve conflicts between stakeholders, escalating issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 0-2 years’ experience, financial services experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or other related field.
- Proven project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Organized and proactive, with strong communication and presentation skills.
Relevant experience could include related sales experience, B2B marketing, financial services, investment management, or related field.
