Remote School Psychologist | WFH Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual School Psychologist to join our team, where your expertise will be crucial in supporting the psychological and emotional health of students in a remote learning setting. In this integral role, you will collaborate with students, families, and educators to facilitate counseling, conduct assessments, and implement strategies aimed at fostering students’ social-emotional growth and mental well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual individual and group counseling sessions to provide emotional support, guidance, and coping strategies for students.
• Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students’ mental health, developmental progress, and specific challenges, utilizing your findings to inform educational strategies.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop a robust support network for each student, offering valuable insights and recommendations.
• Develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with the support team, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
• Provide immediate intervention and support during mental health crises, guiding parents and staff through critical situations.
• Offer ongoing emotional and psychological support, including resources, referrals, and follow-up services as required.

Required Skills

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students.
• Proficiency in leveraging online platforms for assessments and counseling.
• Experience in crisis intervention techniques.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
• Active state licensure as a School Psychologist or eligibility for licensure in your state.
• Previous experience as a school psychologist, with a preference for candidates experienced in remote environments.
